Following my usual morning wander ritual while visiting other cities, I found this gentleman doing what I suspect he does every morning. He was up there watching Venice wake up and enjoying the scene before it was overrun with the hordes of tourists piling off cruise ships.
Much like every other city or town I've visited, early morning reveals the true nature of the place.
